BatteryGuys is an online store for batteries, chargers, and custom cables, serving buyers who need the right battery for their vehicle or equipment along with clear specs before they order.

Challenge

Several products can only be sold profitably above a certain quantity, and buyers often need spec sheets to confirm a battery is the right fit before they commit — both had to work smoothly on the product and checkout pages without slowing down the rest of the store.

Solution

Built on Shopify, the store uses custom product fields (metafields) to set a minimum order quantity per product, enforced on both the product page and at checkout. Product pages also offer downloadable PDF spec sheets, alongside a custom cables section and refreshed site content.
